The Waterproofing Company’s staff of professionals represents over 75 years of experience in the fields of waterproofing and building restoration. Call on us for assistance.

Tom Capello our Lead Estimator and Sr. Project Manager as well as Vice President.  He joined TWC in 1976.  His schooling includes Wentworth Institute and The Boston Architectural Center, and he's an active member of Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute.  His straightforward attitude and insistence on delivering the best possible workmanship have translated into a very loyal client base of satisfied return customers.

Charles A Ford, son of Charles C, and grandson of Blanchard, worked for the company a few summers in the mid 80's, but after graduating Bowdoin College in 1987 went a different direction by working for Beacon Management Company.  He developed an interest in building restoration and to that end pursued a degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University's School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning. After graduating, he worked for Western Waterproofing in San Francisco where business in the aftermath of the Loma Preita Earthquake was booming.  He retured to Boston in 1995 after his father's retirement to eventually assume responsibility as Owner and President.  His responsibilities also include Estimating and Project Management.

Jim Etheridge is our newest  addition to the team. He joined TWC in Feb. 2006 as an Estimator/Project Manager, but his roots run deep with 17 years in the construction industry and ties to Lee Kennedy Construction.  His formal education comes from Wentworth Institute of Technology and Northeastern University, and he is an active member of the Professional Estimator Society. His loyalty, discipline and organizational skills are an added benefit that were drilled into him courtesy of the US Army Infantry where he served in Desert Storm and is currently in the Army Reserve.  Jim's role also includes keeping our Information Technology systems at maximum proficiency.

Our office is supported by Donna Peterson, the Bookkeeper and Office Manager.  She began her carreer with TWC in 1980.  She's the conduit between TWC and every accounting department with which we work.

In  the field we presently employ up to 40 highly qualified Bricklayer/Masons predominantly from Local 3 in Boston.  We're also employ a number of Union affiliated Laborers to assist and augment the field.  Hugo Provetti heads up the field as General Superintendent.  All workers are OSHA 10 Certified and specifically trained in Suspended Scaffolding and Fabricated Frame safety.  We engage outside consulting services to provide such training and also to oversee our Safety and HazCom program through periodic seminars and site inspection.
